Introduction to the general concepts of Electrical Theory, OHM’s Law, Power Formula. These concepts are used in the electrical– construction industry on a daily basis. This course also includes safety requirements in the State of Washington as per OSHA/WISHA.
The Basic Electrical Theory course is packaged as two 8-hour days and is designed to meet the requirements for renewing a trainee license. The course consists of sixteen hours of instruction. Partial credit for completing 1/2 of the class cannot be granted, however, if scheduling of class dates is inconvenient, arrangements may be made to take the two halves at separate sessions. These courses are open to trainees AND journeymen.
